Cassie Told Diddy She Was 'Always Ready' For A 'Freak Off' -- Defense Reveals Her Texts!

Diddy’s defense team REALLY wants to discredit Cassie.

During Day 4 of his sex trafficking lawsuit, the rap mogul’s team has begun their cross-examination of the state’s star witness. How are they planning to defend Diddy against all the harrowing accusations Cassie has hurled his way? To try and make it seem like the Me & U singer was into the “freak-offs” the whole time! As part of their strategy, defense attorney Anna Estevao brought forth several text messages between the exes in an attempt to paint Cassie as enthusiastic about the degrading sexual abuse he put her through.

Beginning her line of questioning, Estevao asked Cassie why she “kept coming back” to the Bad Boy Records founder despite the abuse she was allegedly subjected to. We mean… you could ask any number of abuse victims that question, couldn’t you? But Diddy’s team is really trying to convince the jury Cassie is lying about it — and they’re using her own words as an attempt at a smoking gun.

Estevao actually asked Cassie to read aloud a series of messages between her and Diddy in 2009 — which the R&B singer did in a quiet voice:

Diddy: “I can’t wait to watch you”

Diddy: “I want you to get real hott”

Cassie: “Me too. I just want it to be uncontrollable.”

Cassie: “I’m always ready to freak off LOLOL”

Diddy: “You tell me the day. You choose. Name the day.”

Another message was used to show that Cassie helped prepare for the freak offs:

“I’m going to Duane Reade to grab candles and then going home to pack us a bag”

Clearly the defense is trying to paint a picture of these freak offs as a consensual sexual activity — and Cassie as a woman who is just as into them as Diddy. Hmm.

And if the freak offs are all consensual, well… Diddy was just kinky and not criminal, right? That’s the idea? It certainly seems to be Estevao’s goal, to portray Diddy as a swinger rather than a sexual abuser, asking Cassie:

“Did you understand ‘Freak-Offs’ were consistent with Mr. Combs’ description of the swingers lifestyle?”

The Perfect Match star responded:

“Related in a sexual way … they’re very different.”

Part of the defense’s strategy may also be to make Cassie look like a desperate ex, a woman scorned. Yeah, really. Estevao introduced additional 2009 text messages into the trial session in an attempt to make Cassie appear needy for Diddy’s attention:

“When we used to freak off, we were so in love. I’m nervous that I’m just becoming the girlfriend that you get your fantasy off with, and that’s it. I don’t get the other part… Anymore at least.”

In a later message, she wrote:

“I know you can take 3 minutes out of your day to talk to me and you don’t even try. You’re in too much of a rush to get me off of the phone.”

We’re not sure this is going to have the effect on the jury they hope. If anything, to us the texts just continue to show what Cassie has ALREADY been open about earlier in her testimonies: that she really did love Diddy but hated participating in the “freak-offs” — and only did so to keep him happy. She said:

“I knew it wasn’t something I wanted to be doing especially as regularly as it became, but again, I was just in love and wanted to make him happy.”

She previously claimed she felt “worthless” participating in said “freak-offs.”

“I felt pretty horrible about myself. I felt disgusting. I was humiliated. I didn’t have the words at the time to tell him how I felt. And I couldn’t talk to anyone about it.”

She even made it clear that saying “no” didn’t feel like a choice to her because she was terified of what the Bay Boy for Life rapper might do:

“It got to a point where I just didn’t feel like I had much of a choice, didn’t really know what ‘no’ could be or what ‘no’ could turn into.”

In the context of fear of Diddy’s retaliation… it’s hard to see her enthusiastic texts as proof of anything! Especially for a jury that’s already seen the video of him brutally beating her in that hotel in 2016.

One person the texts did really affect? Cassie.

The cross became so overwhelming for the 38-year-old, who is eight months pregnant, that she had to ask for a break! It was just after Estevao brought forward messages of Cassie saying she couldn’t “wait to stare at some big black d**k,” and that she couldn’t “wait” for her then boyfriend to have sex with her.

Can you imagine your most personal, intimate texts being made public like that? It’s what she committed to when she agreed to testify, when she first made her accusations against Diddy… but still. It must be pretty awful.

What are your thoughts on the messages that have been revealed?? Let us know in the comments down below.
