Cate Edwards, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Edwards, says she will be thinking of her mom as she walks down the aisle for her upcoming wedding.
Getting ready for the big day, Cate says that before her mother passed away in December 2010, they had a chance to talk about the big day and what it would really be like.
Cate adds:
“[My mom] was so happy because she loves my fianc├â┬⌐ [Trevor Upham] and knew that I was on this path that she was happy with and comfortable with.
We talked a lot about the wedding and little details, and I’ll obviously be thinking about her a lot that day.
Her outlook was ‘Nothing is impossible.’ She never gave up hope even in her last week of life; she never gave up hope that a cure could be out there and that she could beat this. Big choices that I make ├óΓé¼┬ª little choices that I make, sort of everything I do, I hear her voice the same way I did when she was alive.”
It’ll be quite an emotional day for Cate and her entire family. Elizabeth was a wonderful woman. She will be in everyone’s thoughts the day her daughter walks down the aisle.
