Private Practice star Caterina Scorsone has confirmed that she is preggers with her first child, tweeting:

“Thanks so much for all the love everybody! It’s overwhelming! We couldn’t be happier. So glad we finally get to share the news.”

It’s perfect timing too because her character, Dr. Amelia Shepard, just revealed she was pregnant on the hit ABC medical drama too!
