David Letterman has signed a new contract with CBS that will move him past Johnny Carson as the longest-running-late-night-TV-show-host in history!
Craig Ferguson aka Fergie had his contract extended, as well.
Nina Tassler, the president of CBS, had this to say about this historic announcement:
“David Letterman is a late night legend with an iconic show and Craig Ferguson continues to evolve the genre in exciting and innovative ways. “These new agreements deliver ongoing high-quality entertainment for our audience and continued strength and stability for CBS in late night.”
