CeeLo Green is about to get some good news AND some bad news today, according to inside sources.
The LA County District Attorney will soon clear The Voice judge from any and all charges that he sexually assaulted a woman by allegedly slipping a drug into her drink! After a thorough investigation, authorities aren’t 100% buying this lady’s story!
We hear CeeLo not only denied her claims, he was the one who encouraged the cops to inspect the situation! And what they found might be what ends up clearing Mr. Green’s name!
But the F*ck You singer isn’t entirely off the hook! Law enforcement DID find enough evidence to charge CeeLo with one count of furnishing ecstasy, which is a felony!
Uh oh…
The singer might be arraigned as early as this afternoon! The woman involved claimed to have a recording of CeeLo discussing the incident, which was handed over to authorities! Insiders say Green never mentions anything about slipping MDMA into her drink, but he did reference the drug on tape.
And that’s all the police need to hear to book him on this!
So what kind of sentence is CeeLo looking at now?
Experts believe that individuals with a first offense like this usually get slapped with probation.
We think that punishment fits the crime!
