January has been a terrible month for Celine Dion.
Not only did the songstress lose her beloved husband René Angélil to cancer on January 14, but she also lost her brother Daniel Dion to the illness two days later.

According to insiders, while Dion did attend Daniel’s memorial service on Saturday at ├óΓé¼ΓÇ╣Salon Charles Rajotte in Repentigny, Canada, she did NOT attend his funeral on January 25. The decision is understandable considering the icon just laid Ren├â┬⌐ to rest on Friday.
A source also went on to add that C.D. didn’t want to put her three sons through more public mourning.
So heartbreaking. We imagine the star is emotionally exhausted and needs time to recover.
