Celine Dion always stayed strong for her family as Ren├â┬⌐ Ang├â┬⌐lil‘s health declined.
Now, after his passing last Thursday, the songstress is putting on a “brave face” despite being “extremely heartbroken.”
In March the Power of Love singer told People:
“My kids need me a lot, my husband needs me and I need to keep going. If I’m too withdrawn, I don’t think my family will overcome that. I have to show myself, my husband and my kids and I am strong and we’re okay.”
The 47-year-old and her late husband share three sons together — Ren├â┬⌐-Charles, 15, and 5-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson.

A source close to the family says it’s been an understandably difficult time as the funeral approaches on Friday:
“They’re obviously grieving. Ren├â┬⌐-Charles being a teenager has had a more difficult time with the situation than the twins, who are so young.”
Celine’s longtime stylist and close pal Annie Horth adds:
“I know Celine truly believes that he will eternally be with her and with the kids through everything.”
Ang├â┬⌐lil’s son-in-law Marc Dupr├â┬⌐, a Canadian musician married to Ang├â┬⌐lil’s daughter from a previous relationship, thanked fans for their support via Twitter. He penned:
“Thank you for your sympathy messages! Ren├â┬⌐ was for me a model, a friend, my second father! We will miss him. Rest in peace xx Ren├â┬⌐.”
