As we reported, Sophia Bush had a pretty scathing review of that time she felt pressured into marrying her former One Tree Hill costar, Chad Michael Murray, back in 2005 when she was 22 and he was 23.

In response, the 36-year-old actor is calling the claims “ludicrous” as he would never marry for anything but love!!
In a statement to People, the House Of Wax star clapped back via his rep:
“The story is ludicrous. Chad conducts himself in a completely professional manner and would never marry for any reason but love. Thirteen years since his divorce from Sophia, he has a very happy family life with his wife and children. He has completely moved on and doesn’t feel the need to engage in this type of behavior.”
Ooh, burn.
To be fair, Chad couldn’t even recognize Hilary Duff under her masquerade mask in A Cinderella Story, so we wouldn’t say he’s the most observant!! Still bitter from 2004.
