Chaka Khan Just Got Custody Of Her Granddaughter

The queen of funk is the legal guardian to a little girl!
Earlier this week Chaka Khan signed up to take over parenting duties son’s 10-year-old daughter, Daija.
Chaka won temporary custody back in September. The signer claimed the girl’s parents are drug addict and incapable of taking care of her.
Now Chaka is in this for the long haul. As the permanent guardian of her granddaughter, the Tell Me Something Good singer will be raising Daija through her teen years.
