How Channing Tatum Took The Jenna Dewan Pregnancy News

Jenna Dewan is preggers, y’all.

The World Of Dance host and boyfriend Steve Kazee confirmed her bun-in-oven status on Instagram on Tuesday, and both seem just over the moon about it.

Jenna wrote:

“Becoming a mother is quite simply the absolute best most incredible thing that has ever happened to me ?
@stevekazee you are a gift from above and i couldn’t be more excited to be expanding our family together…! Thank you guys for all the love!!”

Steve wrote even more, penning:

“I can’t even begin to describe the feelings that I have had since we first learned that Jenna was pregnant! I have waited my entire life for this moment and couldn’t have found a better person to build a family with. … I have learned so much about parenting already from watching how amazing Jenna is with her and Evie has taught me so much about what it means to love and communicate with a child and I can’t wait to give her a sibling and make our little family a little bit bigger.”

But if you’re anything like us, the person you really want to hear from is Jenna’s ex-hubby, Channing Tatum.

Sadly, the 22 Jump Street star quit social media last month. Such inconvenient (or super convenient?) timing!

Thankfully we’re already starting to get some inside word re: baby daddy numero uno’s emotional state. A source told E! News not to worry — Channing didn’t find out about this on the Internet or anything!

“Jenna told Channing that she was pregnant and wanted to make sure he knew before she announced it.”

And how does he feel about it all? The couple seem to have moved on fairly easily since their surprise split last April. But it’s one thing to start dating other people, it’s another to have someone join families — because this new kiddo will be a sibling for their 6-year-old daughter Everly.

The insider affirms:

“He is happy for her and was very supportive.”

We suppose we wouldn’t expect anything less from the sweetest guy in the world… Innerestingly, it doesn’t sound like he was all that surprised either…

It may seem out of nowhere with some new guy, but Steve isn’t exactly new.

It’s unclear exactly how long Jenna and Steve have been together — they were first spotted together by press at a Halloween party last year — but he did mention the “past year and a half” in his IG announcement.
