Charli XCX Shuts Down Marina & The Diamonds' Artistic Imitation Allegations!

Charli XCX
is having NONE of this.

Listen: Charli Debuts Double Clap!
Here’s the thing — Ms. XCX argues this mini scandal is nothing more than a misunderstanding. Apparently she and Marina coincidentally used the SAME photographer for their shoots!
Considering Charli’s photos were directed and chosen by a BRAND, she reasons any similarities are not her fault. Not to mention the creative scandal represents everything the talented gal is against!
In a lengthy Instagram post, the beauty explicitly states:

“I’m Not Here To Replicate Or ‘Steal’ Art.”

What a strong and declarative statement! You can read the 23-year-old’s full message (below)!

Sounds like a solid defense! We just hope these two can reach a positive conclusion considering they’re former collaborators. Just Dessert was great!
So, whose side are YOU on?
