You’re going to be a puffy man, Charlie Brown!
The big screen adaptation of the beloved comic strip is hitting theaters in 2015, and it will be doing it in 3-D!
20th Century Fox unveiled a preliminary image of the perennial sad sack hero in full rotundness at the CinemaCon movie convention in Las Vegas today.
Fox Chairman Jim Gianopulos said:
“This will forever change the face of animation. Prepare to have your minds blown.”
The film will be directed by Ice Age: Continental Drift helmer Steve Martino, no stranger to 3-D animation.
We’re not sure what Fox had to pay for the rights to the icon, but you can bet it wasn’t Peanuts!
