Charlie Sheen was doing his best to avoid jail time for his felony case in Aspen, but now he may be headed to the slammer!
The district attorney was originally allowing Charlie to plead guilty to the felony with no jail time. If he adhered to his probation for two years, the charge would be erased from his record.
But Charlie’s camp had a problem with the plea proposal!
According to a source, “There are a lot of ways to violate probation, and we don’t want Charlie doing something that in the next two years could land him in prison for a probation violation.”
Ha. They don’t trust him!
On top of that, they are worried that someone will try to extort him!
“Charlie has a giant bull’s eye on him,” said another insider.
The new proposal states that the TV star would plead guilty or no contest to a misdemeanor and get jail time. Charlie is willing to do 10 days in jail but the D.A. wants at least 30!
Reason for the jail time is that once he serves his sentence, Charlie will either avoid probation or it will be for a very short period of time.
