Today a judge in Santa Monica granted Chaz Bono‘s petition for a gender and name change after Chaz has undergone an “irreversible surgery” in September of 2009 changing his “sex characteristics from female to male.”
Doctors assert in the documents that he has “completed his gender reassignment surgery.”
Congrats, Chaz!
