On Thursday, the controversial tv host shared the news of her beloved animal friend’s passing on Instagram.
Fans of Chelsea Lately and Chelsea knew Chunk well. He was always a welcome addition on his mom’s shows, with viewers often feeling like he was a part of their own families.

Chunk was nine-years-old when the author rescued him from a kill shelter back in 2009. He was a German Shepherd-Chow mix.
It’s sad enough on its own, but even sadder when you remember she lost her other dog, Tammy, back in August. What a hard time this must be.
Rest in peace, Chunk. We hope you, Tammy, and Chelsea meet again one day.
