Ever since Chelsea Handler announced she was leaving Chelsea Lately and E! behind, it’s been a Da Vinci Code mystery trying to figure out where she’s headed next!
Well, we finally have our answer; Chelsea is going to Netflix!
Chelsea will not only host the Inter-network’s first talk show, her deal also includes a standup special and four docu-comedy specials!
Not to mention all the f-bombs she can throw! No wonder she’s so happy about it! She said:
“If I was going to continue working in this industry, I knew I had to do something outside the box to keep myself interested.
I wanted to sit with the cool kids at lunch so I approached Netflix to make sure they were as cool as I thought they were, and when I confirmed my suspicions, like with any other future lover, I made my move. I’m more excited than I’ve been in awhile, and the team at Netflix is the most forward thinking, alert group I’ve sat down with in ages. No offense to the Shahs Of Sunset.”
The talk show is slated to begin in early 2016. As to whether it will be released daily, weekly, or all at once like Orange Is The New Black, no one is saying yet.
But one thing is for sure- since it’s on Netflix, “late night” is any time of the day you want it to be!
