Dreams do come true!
Over the weekend, Cher revealed that she was busy working on a musical based on her life with Tony Award nominated writer Rick Elice. AH-Mazing!
The pop icon took to Twitter and shared with her legion of followers:
Where can we book our tickets?! STAT!

Though the songstress may have seemed ready to chat about the upcoming project, her partner did NOT seem as eager to open up about the work-in-progress.
He noted:
“The fact is, we’re just getting started so I don’t think there’s a story for you yet. No answers at this point, only questions.”
Still, we couldn’t be happier that these two even acknowledged that the musical was still happening — especially since we haven’t had any updates since the Grammy winner first announced the show back in 2012.
Perhaps, Elice has been spread a little too thin as he’s also working on ANOTHER musical based on Whitney Houston‘s life. Yeezus.
We definitely can’t wait for the day when we learn which Broadway Baby lands the coveted role of playing the Oscar winner. We’re too excited!
