We guess she’s out! But still – any appearance on the show will be a good profile boost for her!
Although Cheryl Cole was originally expected to take a seat on the judges panel of the US version of The X Factor, it appears as though her role has been moved to that of Simon Cowell‘s helper, much like Sinatta‘s across the pond, because execs are concerned that her accent is too strong for her to be marketable here!
The insiders explain:
├óΓé¼╦£People just don├óΓé¼Γäót know who she is over there and people struggle to understand what she is saying. Simon is consoling her with the offer of helping him win the first series, which would give her profile a massive boost. If audiences and contestants can’t understand her, it is actually a regulatory offense. Simon Cowell is still one of her biggest supporters. But even though the X Factor is his idea it├óΓé¼Γäós the executives at Fox who have the ultimate say over the make-up of the show.’
Disappointing!
But hey – it’s still a step in the right direction for her to get her name out there with American audiences, so we wouldn’t be too upset!
And WE can always fill in for her on the judges table! Ha! Just saying!
