She’s worth every cent!
Cheryl Cole has been offered double her salary if she agrees to return to UK’s X Factor.
With speculation that Simon Cowell will focus his energy on the US version and will most likely not return to the UK series, producers are hoping to lure Chezza into staying on their show.
If she does agree to come back, the pay raise would make her the highest paid woman on UK television.
A source says:
“Cheryl is being tempted with a bigger salary and if she takes it then it won’t look like she’s failed in the US. ITV are in turmoil about the UK version as everything is still up in the air.
They know by keeping Cheryl half of their problems will be solved. She’s still the biggest advertising draw. But, of course, if she does get the US job she’ll take it like a shot.”
Although with names like Fergie and Nicki Minaj being thrown around to judge the US version, it’s still very much in the air whether or not Cheryl will be asked to be a member of the judging panel.
We say, give her a chance! We want Chezza’s American debut to happen ASAP!
