Um, yes please!
An extract from dry chili peppers known as dihydrocapsiate has been found to speed up the body’s metabolism. It’s already sold as a diet supplement in the US and Japan, but Britain may start using it in food.
A Japanese food company has submitted a request to the Food Standards Agency to start putting the chemical in chocolates and other foods.
This sounds too good to be true — but if it is true we totes want some chili chocolates!!
