Our hearts go out to Titanic fans in China! They won’t be able to draw Rose like one of Jack’s French girls!
The country’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) has censored some of the more racier scenes in the film’s 3D re-release – including Kate Winslet‘s infamous nude scene.
In the edited scene, Rose will only be shown from the neck up, which is a shame considering a cost for one ticket to see the film in 3D on IMAX in China is 150 yuan (US$24).
What a travesty!
An excited Chinese man who bought tickets for the film, said:
“I’ve been waiting almost 15 years, and not for the 3D icebergs.”
Guess he’s going to have to wait another 15 years…
