Ever since Chris Brown broke out on the music scene when he was just a teenager, people knew there was something special about the now 26-year-old.

Brown has rightfully faced a ton of criticism since the incident and probably lost quite a few fans as a result, but now the singer is getting to tell his side of the story.
In a trailer for C. Breezy’s new documentary Welcome to My Life, the Don’t Wake Me Up singer opens up about his feelings following his legal troubles and how he “felt like a f*cking monster.” Brown even admitted:
“I was thinking about suicide and everything else. I wasn’t sleeping, I wasn’t eating. I just was getting high.”
