UPDATE 4:35 EST: Mike G’s attorney, Patty Glaser, released the following statement, “We did everything we could to resolve this in a non-public way to avoid damage to Chris Brown. Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy. We’ve seen Chris Brown’s Instagram post. It’s a pathetic reaction to the lawsuit. There is no truth to his claim and Brown knows it. We’ll amend our complaint to add claims for defamation.”
Chris Brown‘s landed himself in another legal mess.
On Thursday, it was reported that the Loyal singer is being sued by his manager Mike G for allegedly beating him up badly enough to go to the ER. Yikes!

Reportedly, Mr. G was hired in 2012 to help rehabilitate C.Breezy’s image following the Rihanna scandal, as well as help the No Air artist get out of debt and off of drugs. The industry executive claims he successfully worked with Chris up until last month, when Brown supposedly brought Mike into a room and repeatedly punched him in the face and neck. Whoa.
To make matters worse, the lawsuit states Chris chose to brag about the beating and make fun of Mike online rather than apologize for the incident. Apparently, the controversial celeb began telling his tour staff that if they got out of line he’d beat them like he did his manager.
Mike also claims Chris’ violent outburst was caused by drugs and adds he is afraid of revenge from his former client’s “gang member” friends. Still, it seems that Chris is refuting these accusations as he’s since taken to Instagram to accuse Mike G of stealing from him.
