Sigh, we will NEVER forget the day that Gleegate occurred!
It literally blew up the whole Twitterverse!!
Just a day before Independence Day, Chris Colfer had the unfortunate luck of having his Twitter hacked and the culprit announced that Chris was “let go” from the show that shot him to fame!
Thankfully, it was all just a hoax, but the actor believes this was a planned attack!
He said in a recent radio interview:
“Whoever this A-hole was that did this knew that I was going to be on this plane and I couldn’t be reached. So as soon as I landed, my phone just exploded.”
Yikes!
We can honestly imagine all the emotions he went through because we went through the same ones!
Chris wasn’t the only one who had his Twitter account violated, co-star Lea Michele had the exact same thing happen to her!
At least they both had a good sense of humor about it! Chris said he responded to the fake tweet and said:
“I tweeted at her and I said, ‘Hey, if you need a babysitter, apparently I’ll be available,’ At least we├óΓé¼Γäóre in it together.”
LOLz!
Poor things. Thankfully it’s all over and now HOPEFULLY they’ve got their accounts fully locked down with new and hard to crack passwords!
