Chris Colfer Thrilled About Being Nominated For A SAG!

As are we! We’re so proud of him!

Right on the heels of his first ever Golden Globes nomination, Chris Colfer recieved his first individual SAG nomination for his role on Glee!

When sources caught up with Chris to talk about his nomination, he admitted that he was so proud of this recognition because it came from his “peers,” something he rarely got from his classmates in high school. He told reporters:

“It’s fantastic! It’s crazy because where I come from, peers is not necessarily a good word. People are mean to you and they throw things at you and they make fun of you in the hallway, so it’s amazing.”

Aww! He never has to worry about that again! Say it loud, say it proud – We all love ya, Chris!

While the source had him handy to talk about his nom, they tried to get him to spill any fun deets about the second half of the current Glee season. Though he wouldn’t fess up on any upcoming kisses with costar Darren Criss, he did tease about the upcoming Superbowl episode. He explains:

“Just the first paragraph alone in that script made me question how it was legal and how it was possible to do what they wrote. Like, I’m telling you, there’s some sentences in that script that are like, ‘How is that possible?! How can they legally do this?!”

We think it’s safe to assume he’s talking about a Jane Lynch scene and we’re totes looking forward to it.

Congrats again, Chris, on this and all your amazing achievements this year! They are all well-deserved!
