Chris Cornell Has Been Cremated -- And Fans Will Be Allowed To Visit His Grave Site

Chris Cornell was cremated Tuesday as a group of family and friends paid their last respects.

TMZ reports the rock icon’s ceremony took place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in LA, with his brother Peter, wife Vicky, and friends Linda Ramone and JD King present.
The group will get together again Friday to bury the ashes, and afterwards fans will also be allowed to visit the site.
Cemetery officials say they are ready for large crowds to descend, as Chris joins other famous inhabitants like Jayne Mansfield, Mickey Rooney, and Joey Ramone.
Rest in peace, Chris.
