We all have bad moments, but Chris Daughtry’s was on a very public stage!
The former American Idol contestant was performing for Fox & Friends‘ All-American Summer Concert Series, and since it was D-Day, they asked him to sing something patriotic.
Well, the off-the-cuff request left him flustered, so Daughtry said:
“I’m off the clock. I’m going to watch ‘y’all.”
Later, the singer made a video to apologize for his actions, saying he was “embarrassed” and “ashamed.”
We have to say, this is one of the most sincere apologies we’ve heard from a celeb in ages! You have to see it for yourself (below)!
