Ever since we heard about the kiss between Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, fans have been dying to know wassup with that?
Chris wasn’t divulging any answers at Comic-Con, but he did downplay the real-life effects of a ScarJo smooch!
The Avengers costars first met on the set of 2002’s The Perfect Score, so they’ve been in the friend zone WAY too long! Chris says:
“She was a kid. She was like 16 or 17 years old. I’ve known her for over a decade now, so she’s like my sister.
We have this little kiss scene. It will all make sense in the movie.”
But even kissing your “sister” must cause some jealousy with lady love Minka Kelly, right? Not according to Chris! He says:
“My girl’s an actor, too, so you kind of understand that. We’re like, ‘Hey, it’s OK. It’s what we do, what we do, what we do.'”
Of course! It’s what she did, what she did what she did with Taylor Kitsch on Friday Night Lights! She knows all about doing your own lip stunts!
