Chris Hardwick Officially Dropped From Another Gig Amid Fallout From Chloe Dykstra's Abuse Allegations

no title
UPDATE, 3:45 p.m. ET:
Whoa! AMC Networks has now weighed in on Chris Hardwick’s future — and specifically, his show Talking With Chris Hardwick.
They say the show will NOT air while they assess the situation here, and also confirm Hardwick won’t be moderating two previously-confirmed panels at next month’s Comic-Con in San Diego.
Further, AMC added this (below):

“We have had a positive working relationship with Chris Hardwick for many years. We take the troubling allegations that surfaced yesterday very seriously.”

So there you have it.
Lots of changes…

The hammer continues to fall…
Chris Hardwick has just lost another professional gig in direct response to the (unnamed) allegations made yesterday by his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra, who claimed he emotionally and sexually abused her during their long-term relationship.

Now, according to reports out in TMZ at this hour, Hardwick has lost his spot in the lineup at the Kaaboo Festival in Del Mar, California this year.
Kaaboo is an annual music and comedy event, and while it doesn’t happen until September, organizers apparently wanted to make a quick decision to get rid of Chris and, presumably, have some time to replace him in the lineup.
Remember, Nerdist has already scrubbed all of Hardwick’s work from their portfolio — that happened just hours after Dykstra’s allegations surfaced.
Hardwick founded that outlet back in the day, but he no longer owns it, so they must have wanted to really distance themselves amid the fallout from the allegations.

For what it’s worth, the Talking Dead host himself strongly denies the abuse allegations, having released a statement of his own late last night.
Thoughts, Perezcious readers?
