Talk about irony!
Earlier this month, we reported that the host of The Bachelor, Chris Harrison, announced that he was calling it quits from his wife of 18 years!!!
After spending 16 seasons hosting the show, where eligible bachelors search to find their one true love, it sounds like Chris is now the one getting a taste of the bachelor life!
In a recent interview, Harrison opened up on his ex, Gwen Jones, how it feels to be single and if he’d ever remarry.
Chris confessed:
“I guess I am a bachelor now, which scares the holy hell out of me├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥I’m not going to lie├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥because I haven’t been one since the early ’90s…and I thought those days were over├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥and I was happy to have them over! I was never one of those married guys that was like, ‘Man, I wish I was at the club at 4 a.m. with those guys! I am so happy to be home, I love my life at home.”
Chris and his ex had been high school sweethearts and have a daughter and son together, ages seven and nine.
The Bachelor host went on to say how the two still remain in contact for their kids’ sake and remain best friends.
Chris said:
“I still hold myself and my marriage up very high. I look upon it with great pride, great honor and great memories. I have no regrets. I hope I have another great marriage ahead someday, and I hope she does, too.”
We definitely think that a nearly twenty year marriage is something to be proud of, as well!
We wish both Chris and Gwen the best and are glad to hear that they are handling things the best way they possibly could.
