Bachelor Host Chris Harrison Confirms Nick Viall Will Cry 'Man Tears' During Season 21 -- Oh No!

The road to love isn’t an easy one — especially for Nick Viall!
As you surely know, the reality TV vet is currently filming The Bachelor‘s 21st season after failing to find love on the ABC hit’s spin-off shows The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise. And although it’s said Mr. Viall is close to finding love “for real” this time around, that doesn’t mean there haven’t been a few bumps in the road.
In fact, longtime host Chris Harrison even opened up to Mario Lopez about a breakdown Nick recently suffered during filming. Whoa.

During Harrison’s interview for On With Mario Lopez, which will air on November 2, the 45-year-old defended the network’s decision to cast Viall. Chris shared:

“I know people were a little reluctant, and they’re giving him a hard time. I hope those people will just trust that we know what we’ve been doing over 15 years. He’s a good man ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ he’s a really good guy. And he’s doing a good job.”

Well that’s good to hear! The Bachelor constant went onto compare Nick’s recent “low moment” to one legend from the dating competition. As you may recall, season 13’s Jason Mesnick broke down in tears when he struggled with his decision to send home runner-up Molly Malaney — whom he eventually ended up with during the After the Final Rose special. God, we just love this show.
Anywho, Harrison explained:

“I will say ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a little inside baseball because we’re in the middle of taping right now ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ he hit a little low point, as all of the Bachelors do. You kind of reach this emotional bottom where you get stripped down. If you know what a Mesnick is, I will let you know that he pulled a full Mesnick. There will be man tears on this season for sure.”

Poor guy. Not to mention, a different insider close to the show revealed to Us Weekly that Nick has become an “emotional mess” as the end of filming draws closer.
The source relayed:

“Nick was handling everything really well ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ then everything hit him, and he had a full meltdown. All of the girls have been crying, too. Multiple girls have been crying.”

Is it bad we’re MORE than ready to see all of this go down? LOLz!
Nonetheless, we guess we’re just gonna have to wait for all of this juicy drama as The Bachelor doesn’t return to ABC until January 2017. Sigh!
