As you surely know, Ben and Matt have been BFFs for, like, ever. We mean, the twosome won Oscars for writing Good Will Hunting together.
Nonetheless, it appears as though The Town director is about to be replaced as The Martian actor’s bestie amid reports Matt is getting pretty close to Chris Hemsworth. *Gasp*

Don’t believe us?? Well, the two were just spotted spending quality time in Monaco together after enjoying a holiday in Australia last month. Also, the Jason Bourne actor was ALL over the Thor hunk’s Instagram this week.
At first, Damon only popped up in the background of one pic (below).
However, as the outing raged on, the A-lister became more front and center in the photos. Alongside the image (at the top), Hemsworth wrote:
“Great trip to Monaco thanks to @tagheuer #formula1”

Now we don’t ACTUALLY believe that Matt’s taken away Ben’s bestie title, but with everything the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star’s been through lately, we’d bet the industry vet is turning to Chris more to be his partner in crime.
Not to mention, Hemsworth is still married to Elsa Pataky so we’re sure Matt’s wife, Luciana Barroso enjoys having a couple to hang out with!
To be fair, Chris and Matt HAVE been friends for awhile — it just looks their bromance is escalating to a whole new level. LOLz!
