Chris Hemsworth is so tall and blond and godlike, it’s sometimes easy to forget that the Thor star is all too human.
In fact, between with a wife and baby at home and countless aliens, trolls, and evil queens to dispatch at work, we imagine he’s a pretty tired human!
It’s got to be tough to balance career and family, even across those shoulders. Chris says:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós tough, certainly. When you├óΓé¼Γäóre all in one place, it├óΓé¼Γäós like a normal job. The hours can be inconsistent, but at least when you come home at night, the family├óΓé¼Γäós there. The toughest thing is the press tours and the travel, which fortunately is only a couple of times a year for a couple of weeks at a time. So the time I├óΓé¼Γäóm away from them can be minimal.
What will become harder is if my wife and I are both working at the same time in different countries ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ that├óΓé¼Γäós what we├óΓé¼Γäóre going to try not to do. But, sometimes there├óΓé¼Γäós an opportunity that arises for both of you which you can├óΓé¼Γäót say no to. At the moment we├óΓé¼Γäóre lucky; it├óΓé¼Γäós early days for us anyway.”
So in the small amount of free time his schedule does allow, what’s the Mighty Avenger‘s favorite activity?
“At the moment, hang out with my little baby. It├óΓé¼Γäós fascinating watching her; every day there├óΓé¼Γäós something different. Now she├óΓé¼Γäós becoming more and more aware of the world and that├óΓé¼Γäós incredible.”
Awww! Sounds like she might be almost as fascinating to watch as her dashing dad!
