At least he’s owning up to his mistakes!
Chris Klein served 96 hours in jail for his second DUI in June. He was also sentenced to four years probation, fines and an 18-month alcohol education class.
The actor also volunteered to live in a rehab facility for two months, which he has already completed.
“I apologize for my wrongdoing and I really appreciate that the court gave me the opportunity to prove how seriously I took all of this,” said Klein to Judge David B. Gelfound on Friday.
Chris will also have an ignition interlock device on his car that prevents the engine from starting if alcohol is detected.
His attorney, Blair Berk, said:
“Chris took immediate responsibility for what he did and has used this experience in such a positive way to get help to confront an addiction to alcohol. He deserves enormous credit for stepping up and getting it done.”
We agree. Now get your shiz together!
