Wise choice, Warner Bros!
The studio is bringing in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight director Chris Nolan to “mentor” the development of an upcoming Superman film.
It wouldn’t be a sequel to 2006’s Superman Returns, but a fresh take on the popular superhero franchise. And they need to get started sooner rather than later as the Siegels, who own the original copyright to Superman, could sue for damages if no film is in development by 2011.
Well we think bringing in Chris Nolan to consult was the best thing they could have done. Batman Begins grossed $373 million worldwide and we know what happened with The Dark Knight crossing the $1 billion mark.
The guy knows what he’s doing!
No word yet on whether Brandon Routh would return as the title hero or not.
Who do U want to see don the cape and tights?
