After the first three Jurassic Park films, it took us more than a decade before we finally got to return to Isla Nublar and see Jurassic World in action, and it was a HUGE hit in the box office!
So just like life, a sequel has, uh, found a way!!!
That’s right! Universal has officially announced that they are going to be making Jurassic World 2 which is slated for a 2018 release! And if that’s not exciting enough, both Chris Pratt AND Bryce Dallas Howard will be reprising their roles!!

Steven Spielberg will also be returning at executive producer along with Colin Trevorrow, but there’s no word yet on who will be directing!
We gotta admit, this isn’t really surprising at all when you consider Jurassic World is already the highest grossing film of 2015 and the third biggest worldwide release of all time!!
Obviously Hollywood is gonna milk this thing for as long as they can, which is great because we have SO MANY questions left unanswered!
Like did that guy ever finish his two margaritas? And did the Mosasaurus ever learn any new tricks other than jumping out of the water?? Did Claire get a more comfortable pair of shoes to run in???
