This guy’s love for his little one helped him out in a lot of ways!
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris‘s son Jack is nearly two-years-old, something Chris will NEVER take for granted.
That’s because Jack was born about nine weeks prematurely and he spent much of that first month in his life in the hospital while his parents nervously checked after him from afar. Here’s what Chris said about that time:
“We were scared for a long time. We prayed a lot.”
With the help of the parents’ endless love and the beautiful science of modern medicine, Jack turned out just fine! And helped Chris restore his own faith in God along the way. The Guardians of the Galaxy star said:
“It restored my faith in God, not that it needed to be restored, but it really redefined it. The baby was so beautiful to us, and I look back at the photos of him and it must have been jarring for other people to come in and see him, but to us he was so beautiful and perfect.”
We LOVE that Chris Pratt can speak so candidly about his personal life. We have a feeling it’s part of what makes him such an endearing actor!
Those traits seem to have rubbed off on his own son, too! Or at least that is how it seemed when Chris said about Jack:
“He is such a fighter, he’s amazing. He’s so open and there’s no fear in him no matter what. He is so charming that my plan is to just let him take care of us as soon as he’s old enough.”
Lolz!
We have a feeling he’ll be mighty old indeed before that becomes necessary!
Chris Pratt’s career is taking off, but even if he goes straight to the top… well, we doubt it’ll reach the love he seems to have for his baby boy.
That would seem to be impossible!
