Is Chrishell Stause throwing some shade Justin Hartley‘s way? Her Twitter actions seem to say YES!
We’ve heard plenty from the Selling Sunset star about how shocked she was when Hartley told he had filed for divorce (via text, no less), but the details on what actually led up to their separation were limited, until now.

Stause has liked tweets which allege the This Is Us lead of cheating on her, potentially with his now-girlfriend Sofia Pernas. One fan wrote on August 7:
“@justinhartley filmed a movie in Canada at the same time his new gf @SofiaPernas was filming the summer before they split. The timing seems like he probably cheated on @Chrishell7 and took a coward’s way out to avoid spousal support and gaslight her.”
A second message by Blind Gossip was also “liked” by the realtor, which promoted a story from way back in December describing a celeb split in which a male TV star fell in love with another woman then filed for a shockingly quick divorce out of nowhere.
Sound like anyone we know?
Obviously, this public move has led fans to question whether or not Justin cheated, but a source close to the 43-year-old says this is “absolutely false,” and notes that the couple’s marriage had been on the rocks for some time so Chrishell shouldn’t have been shocked by the divorce filing.
Not only that, the insider also claims Justin “didn’t even start talking to Sofia until the spring of 2020,” so any rumbling that the now-couple were together prior to Justin and Chrishell’s split is also false.
Regardless of when their relationship began, they’ve actually known each other for a few years because Justin, Sofia, and Chrishell ALL worked on The Young And The Restless together around 2014-2016. Sounds like a classic daytime TV love triangle, doesn’t it?
Meanwhile, Stause reflected on her separation throughout the new season of her Netflix series, sharing at one point:
“When I think of marriage, I think you work on things with people. They’re not perfect, no one is. You work on it. You talk about it. You don’t go out looking for greener grass. Sometimes you have to water the grass that you have, and that’s what marriage is. Sometimes it can be hard, but I mean, I don’t think it should be more hard than easy at all. That’s why I’m so confused because I didn’t feel like that balance was off. I just feel stupid.”
