Chrissy Teigen is “very scared.”
The Lip Sync Battle alum took to Instagram on Wednesday to give followers a Teigen/Legend family update amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. She started off a series of Story posts with a photo from the @LosAngelesBucketList showing the Hollywood Hills on fire.

She then wrote:
“I haven’t had the words. It is a hellscape. We are ok as of right now, and I felt weird saying that with so many people we know and don’t know who are not ok. Thank you for reaching out. Looking for any and all ways to help our community right now, please send anything you see. And god bless the firefighters and all first responders.”
However, just five hours later the mom of four returned to the photo-sharing app to inform followers she and John Legend were forced to evacuate their home with their brood of kids and animals. In a mirror selfie snapped in her closet, Chrissy stood in awe next to her suitcase with her hand over her mouth, revealing:
“This is surreal I’m very scared now. Packing”

Next, she shared a snap of a disorganized Lego set on a coffee table and wrote:
“I f**king told John not to start this Lego”
Chaos! And truly a raw look at how quickly things have changed for many LA residents.
Next, Chrissy updated fans that she and John managed to wrangle their four kids, Luna, 8, Miles, 6, Esti, 1, and Wren, 1, as well as their four dogs and bearded dragon and check into a hotel room. She wrote:
“4 dogs 4 kids and a bearded dragon walk into a hotel”
Shortly after, she shared a glimpse of John laying next to her in their hotel bed while their dogs surrounded them.
After that, the Chrissy & Dave Dine Out star laid in bed with her bearded dragon Sebastian while looking completely stressed — rightfully so.
So, so scary and very stressful!
We’re glad the family was able to evacuate their home safely. Our hearts are with all those affected.
