Hilariously, it came across looking like hot tea when the real news hit!
Several outlets reported her jokes as scoops — even though she clearly prefaced the silliness by writing:

In context, this is really funny. Remember, it’s from late Saturday/early Sunday morning, hours BEFORE we got the news.
But much like in the forgotten film Gossip, in which Cyclops, Queen Cersei, and Daryl Dixon make up stuff about Pacey, the truth made her rumor look a little too real!
As you may have heard, LeBron DID sign with the Lakers! Chrissy joked:
