Chrissy Teigen has some postpartum depression fears when it comes to the birth of her baby boy.
Over the weekend, the Sports Illustrated model opened up about her mental health concerns ahead of the birth of her second child with John Legend. As you likely know, the pregnant Lip Sync Battle hype girl has been quite candid about the postpartum depression she suffered after welcoming her daughter, Luna Stephens, into the world.

Thus, it only makes sense that she is worried about facing PPD once more. While speaking at the Create & Cultivate conference in El Lay, the supermodel turned food expert explained:

“Do I worry about it with this little boy? I do. But I also know that I feel like when it does happen, if it does, I’m so ready for it. I have the perfect people around me for it. That’s why I really stand for a good core group of people around you.”

Glad to hear it. Not to mention, this time around, Mrs. Legend is aware of the symptoms to look out for. In fact, during her last battle with the baby blues, Chrissy wasn’t sure what exactly was wrong with her.
She continued:

“I didn’t know I had it. I knew that I had an incredible life, and an incredible husband, and family, and all the resources necessary, and I knew that I was personally unhappy, but I didn’t think anything was wrong with it because I just assumed that that’s the way it was. You have a kid, you’re sad, you lose those endorphins, and that’s the way it is.”

We can’t even begin to imagine how tough that was. However, Chrissy’s past with postpartum depression wasn’t the only topic she addressed, as she also discussed her role on social media.
Although Teigen is Twitter‘s reigning Queen, her opinionated ways hindered her career for a bit. On her early career rejections, Chrissy recalled:

“I remember meeting with people and them being like, ├óΓé¼╦£Yeah, but she talks a lot.'”

But look at where she is now! And while Chrissy may seem SO outspoken, she is vehement that she’s a lot more censored these days. The cookbook author concluded:

“Now I’m an adult. I’m so filtered. If you followed me like six, seven years ago, that was like, fuck Chrissy. I wish I could do that again. That was so fun. The amount of things I backspace on and save to draft is crazy. Sometimes I’m scared. I delete my drafts every once in a while, just because I’m like, if these got out, it’s horrible.”

Oooh. We want to see THOSE drafts.
Send ’em our way, girl!!!
