Christian Bale Backtracks On His George Clooney Slam! Find Out What He's Saying Now!

Remember when Christian Bale told George Clooney to stop whining about the paparazzi in an interview?
Well, HE doesn’t!
At the premiere of Exodus at the Brooklyn Museum over the weekend, Christian was asked about that now infamous quote from WSJ magazine.
And the actor basically can’t explain it! He recalled:

“I was scratching my head when I heard that. I said, ├óΓé¼╦£When on earth would I had said that?’ I’ve got immense respect for him and I can’t even begin to imagine the invasion of his privacy. Our lives don’t even begin to compare. He’s a true movie star. I’m just somebody who was lucky to get a job. So, yeah, it was possibly just a well-intentioned edit. But certainly, I never meant any disrespect whatsoever.”

Interesting…
Did WSJ just make quotes up so their magazine would sell? Or is Christian Bale trying to cover his well-proportioned butt??
