Christian Lacroix Isn't Safe Just Yet

Uh oh.
Takeover plans have come to a halt for Ajman sheikh Hassan Bin Ali al-Nuaim, better known as the dude bailing out Christian Lacroix.
The company overseeing the transaction has decided to put a hold on their hearing for the purchase until November 17th because of “procedural delays”.
That’s not a good sign. Maybe “procedural delays” are code for bounced check???
The nephew of United Arab Emirates ruler Ajman has promised to keep jobs and pay off bills as part of the deal and is favored by administrators.
We would favor someone too if they were throwing down $100 million bucks!
The officials want to finalize an “economic recovery plan” before letting the deal go through.
Actually, that isn’t such a bad idea. Maybe it’ll prevent them from having this same conversation a few years from now!
