Christian Louboutin announced the release of his new line of nail polish for $50 a pop a few months ago, and apparently he decided he needed to raise the price considerably for the holidays.
Because the holidays are obviously all about acquiring ostentatious, useless items!

This limited edition, Strass crystal-embellished Rouge Louboutin nail polish (above) can be yours for $675! That’s only, like, a couple hundred less than the brand’s actual red-bottomed shoes!

Also, the crystals on the bottle and wand were applied by hand! And there’s 1,500 of them!
The black lacquer box that houses the polish also features bedazzled floral designs inspired by the Louboutin “Pensamoi” shoe.
Of course we know that lifelong Louboutin devotees like Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian are already gobbling these up for Christmas stocking stuffers.
What’s $675 to them anyway? They probably make around that much an hour.
