Oooh! Christina Aguilera is on FIYAH!!
Getting some good publicity in before Lotus drops, the vocal vixen let it all out in an exchange with Billboard‘s editorial director, Bill Werde, on Thursday.
When talking about the myriad of opinions plastered over the interwebs, Xtina unleashed some dirrty words and showed her true feelings, saying:
“Now everyone is a critic. I don’t read blogs. It’s just God-knows-who in Buttf*** wherever writing hate shit. You can’t take it seriously. I’m sure you’ve all been hated on at some point by buttf*** people.”
We know you’re not talking about us, Xtina! LOL!
But if you think that was real talk, just wait ’til you read what she had to say about Simon Cowell! The singer, who later discussed The Voice, commented on American Idol and said:
“I’ve not actually seen a full episode of any of the other music shows. I saw the commercials early on of American Idol of Simon being a dick. I was like, ‘Man, that’s not what it’s about!’ I didn’t want to treat people like that. I wanted to do The Voice to show that we can be positive. We don’t have to knock people down.”
See! We told you she was HOT today!!
And it’s not even over yet. By the time we’re done telling you about this last comment, we might just have to call the fire department on some Mariah Carey fans. Cuz their heads may very well explode.
Referring to the time she and Linda Perry recorded Beautiful, she recalled Linda’s notes for her, saying Linda commented:
“‘Don’t do all that Mariah shit!’ (Linda said) — that was her, not me, I love that shit, (Christina comments) but she was like ‘don’t be doing all that acrobatic shit, just sing!'”
Ha! Well, it’s true… both singers are known for their rousing vocal range (and for parading it as much as possible).
But we’re glad Linda noted it for that particular song. It’s best as an anthem anyone can sing. Ha!
So what’s next for our Lotus lady?? Welllll….. she’s already exploded back into the music video world with Your Body.
But the full album drops on November 9, and with much anticipation for this project to be the next Stripped, we can only hope the rest of the tracks are as hot as her personality!
