Christina Applegate Talks Babies, Cancer And More In Health

It’s been four years since Christina Applegate battled breast cancer, but now the actress and new mom is opening up to Health magazine about how the medical community and cancer still scare her, and the possibility of having another baby.
On her cancer diagnosis and double mastectomy:

“I├óΓé¼Γäóm probably more ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ unfortunately, at this point ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ paranoid than I├óΓé¼Γäód ever been before about when I go get my checkups and everything. I├óΓé¼Γäóm just scared. And I don├óΓé¼Γäót want to be.”

On distrusting the medical community:

“That kind of thing pisses me off about the medical community, that they├óΓé¼Γäóre still spewing lies about who├óΓé¼Γäós getting this disease.”

On having another baby:

“I would love to have one more. I know I├óΓé¼Γäóm 40, and people are gonna say, ‘Hmm├óΓé¼┬ª’ I├óΓé¼Γäóll probably have to harvest in the next year [laughs] to make sure we have a backup plan.”

On the similarities between her show, Up All Night, and her life:

“The birth episode had a lot of things that happened during my birth, having to have a headband and having my competition with myself pushing.”

Surviving cancer and moving forward with her life as a new mom is a HUGE inspiration to many women out there.
