At D23 this weekend (Disney├óΓé¼Γäós expo about its upcoming projects in the hometown of Disneyland — Anaheim, California) the studio announced that Mad Men├óΓé¼Γäós Christina Hendricks and Tom Hiddleston of The Avengers will use their voices to carry us off to Pixie Hollow in the next TinkerBell movie, The Pirate Fairy.
We know these movies are aimed at kids, but with these two actors at the mics, this flick should be the seXXXiest installment yet!
So, perk up, parents!
Christina will be giving life to Zarina, a new fairy on the block, and Tom will be playing a boy named James who will grow up to become — wait for it — CAPTAIN HOOK!
Said Tom:
“Cabin Boy James is educated and polite and energetic and charming and attentive. James and Zarina are steady on. They’re like best friends…for a while. It’s all an act. He’s covering for his ruthless and cunning nature.”
Sounds swashbucklingly soapy!
We also heard that Tom sang The Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book to the crowd during the panel.
Wrong movie reference, Tom, but still: ADORBSIEZ!
Looking forward to more of your peen voice when The Pirate Fairy is released next year!
