Christopher Walken has hired an attourney as the Natalie Wood case reopening gets underway.
The actor was one of the last people to see her alive when she died during a boat trip in 1981.
The two starred together in Brainstorm that year.
According to reports, Walken’s new lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, was brought to advise the actor during the case.
LAPD have said that neither Walken not Natalie’s husband Robert Wagner are suspects.
As reported earlier, the captain of the ship has placed blame on Wagner for Wood’s death.
Walken has said that he intends to fully cooperate as the police investigate Natalie’s death.
