5-Year-Old With Terminal Cancer Gets A Magical Wish To Be Princess For The Day! Does Anyone Else Need Some Kleenex??

If you had terminal cancer and one wish to make (other than getting rid of the cancer), what would it be?
For this heartbreakingly adorable 5-year-old girl with a rare form of terminal cancer, it was to be a princess for a day. So her entire Texas town made it come true.
Dickinson, Texas – about 50 miles southeast of Houston – had hundreds of people involved with 5-year-old Claire Lankford‘s dream to be a princess.
Claire has Rhabdomyosarcoma, which at the moment is incurable. But that didn’t matter once she put on her gown, grabbed her wand, and had her father step in to be Prince Charming.
The town threw a parade in her honor!
She had her very own carriage and police escort, complete with marching drum corps.
Claire sounds like an amazing little girl, and so, so strong. We can’t even imagine the situation for anyone involved — we just hope every day that she’s here is the best day for her and her family.
Claire had originally shown no signs of cancer after chemo, but it showed up again earlier this year.
We wish her nothing but the best.
