During the public comment portion of last week’s Troy, Michigan City Council meeting, about Mayor Janice Daniels homophobic Facebook remarks about “queers”, Amy and Tina, a married lesbian couple, showed up with their biological daughters to tell the Mayor it’s okay.
In the friendliest classist way possible the moms and offered Daniels some advice for her future.
They received a standing ovation.
It seriously made us cry.
We want to be her when we grow up!
